EOS Lip Balms

EOS lip balm

I have already mentioned it in this post, but just in case you missed my confession: I am a lip balm addict. However, in my defense, my addiction is more or less accidental. Today, for example, I bring to you three lip balms, which were given to me as gifts for various occasions (christmas, my birthday) by different people. Okay, I admit, that kind of shows that if people know me well they buy me lip balms and then we are back to square one…but anyway, I am rambling…My point is: I LOVE these lip balms and, yes I use all three of these at the same time (they alternate between purses, drawers, my desk and various pockets 😉 ).

I am sure you have seen these before as well, because they are crazily hyped up and everyone and their dog owns an EOS lip balm. That stands for Evolutions of Smooth by the way, which I did not know – clever name though, right? So you can imagine my excitement when I first read their ingredients and realised that a natural, organic lip balm has reached such an it-product status! Wohhoooo, 1 point for natural beauty!

All lip balms are 100% natural with 95% organic ingredients, which I think is quite good. The main ingredients are oils (olive, coconut and jojoba), infused with vitamin E and a few natural flavours depending on the scent you chose. Important to note though is that they also contain beeswax, so they are not vegan.

Okay, so now I was going to tell you about the lovely scents that I have tried and was going to say that I have mint, raspberry and strawberry and that raspberry is my favourite. A quick google search however revealed that the raspberry flavour does not even exist, so who knows what’s going on with my nose 😀 Anyway, here are what the flavours are really called:

Baby blue: Sweet Mint

Baby pink: Strawberry Sorbet

Red: Summer Fruit

I guess my favourite one is strawberry sorbet then (seriously, I can still smell / taste raspberry – anyone else with me??). Mint is also really nice and leaves a very fresh, slightly tingly feeling on your lips! Overall I love these little cuties, because a) their round design makes me really happy and b) they are super easy to apply and chuck into your handbags! Oh and obviously they leave your lips super nice and smooth (duh!). Although to be completely honest and considering I am a bit of a lip balm snob, there are a few other ones that I possibly prefer over the EOS, but I also would not want to miss them 😉

What is your favourite lip balm? What is your favourite EOS scent?

Love, Joi

PS: I just LOVE how ironic life can be sometimes. As I was about to publish this post, I just won my very first Facebook Giveaway, hosted by the lovely Sunniva from Raw Till Four  and guess what I won! Yes, can you believe it…a lip balm!!! 😀 Im seriously sooo excited!
