100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Lip Butter : Peach

100% Pure Lip Butter

Welcome to this new week, beauty-lovers! I hope you will have a great one! 🙂 Today I would like to share with you a product that I have been using A LOT lately. Like every day really. First off, I have to confess that I am an accidental lip balm/butter/product addict. Somehow these little guys just appear in my purse, on my desk, in my pockets… everywhere really. I am not complaining though, as my lips are loving the extra care and are always well nourished. This one from 100% Pure (no surprises in the choice of company here), is a special one though, as it is also nicely tinted.

Peach

Ingredients

As always, the ingredients are a miracle mixture of fruits, oils, vitamins- basically all the goodness that you can imagine and that will make your lips feel amazing! Interesting to note is the peppermint essential oil though (keep reading to find out why).

What I love about this product

  • Packaging! I love this little cute tin and how clever that they have a picture of the fruit on the front of what the colour looks like
  • We don’t even have to mention all the goodness of the ingredients and that it comes without any chemicals, because that is just a standard at 100% Pure, but we do have to talk about the smoothness of the texture and how light it feels on my lips- it’s amazing
  • The colour! For a lip butter, it actually has quite an opaque colour, which is also buildable enough to replace a lipstick. The peachy colour is quite pink toned and lovely for either day-time wear or even for a nigh-time special occasion, when you apply a thicker layer
  • It also lasts quite well, but obviously not as long as a lipstick would

Fruit Pigmented Lip Butter

What I am personally not a big fan of regarding this product is the application. Because you apply it with your fingers and it is tinted, you are left with coloured product on your fingers, which needs to be wiped off. You could also use a brush though to avoid that problem (#aintnobodygottimeforthat though, right?) Did you take note of the peppermint essential oil earlier? Well, I kind of expected the lip butter to smell as fruity as it looks and as the packaging suggests, so I was slightly taken back by its rather strong smell and taste of peppermint. But that is just personal preference really.

Overall, I love the colour, the nourishing feeling and the silky finish, which is perfect for a fresh and dewy look!

What is your favourite lip balm/butter? Any addicts out there like me? 🙂

Love, Joi
